Frequently Asked Questions
Why am I charged for incoming SMS?
LC Phone charges for both inbound and outbound SMS at the same
per-segment rate. This is consistent with Twilio's billing model and
applies to all number types.
Will I be charged if an SMS fails to deliver?
If there's an internal error before the message reaches the carrier,
you won't be charged. Charges apply to every message where a delivery
attempt was made, regardless of final delivery status. Refunds are not
issued for undelivered messages.
Why am I charged for recording storage on old recordings?
Any stored recording incurs daily storage charges — including older
ones. Use "Automatically Delete Older Recordings" under Sub-account
Settings → Phone Numbers → Advanced Settings → Voice Calls to manage
this.
Why do all outbound calls show Conference Call charges?
The standard call flow initiates a conference session for all outbound
calls to enable seamless warm transfers. Conference charges
($0.0036–$0.0084/min) apply only for warm transferred calls and
workflow calls.
